WHAT IT's ALL ABOUT
We build up what others take down - be it buildings or people - and repurpose what someone else has thrown away to remind people that their work can make a difference. While many organizations specialize in providing people affected by poverty with the basic skills required to reenter the workplace, Rebuilding Exchange offers training that allows people to “level up” and strengthen those basic skills with credentials to vastly increase their marketability as a job candidate, particularly in the ever-growing circular economy.
Our four-month program is comprised of: Certifications in Forklift, LEAD RRP and OSHA-Intensive training in building deconstruction, tool proficiency and tool safety, woodworking, materials management; immersive training in customer service and retail merchandising; and full apprenticeship actively putting these skills to work in a large consumer-facing warehouse + retail environment.
